Eco-Friendly Low GWP Polyurethane System
Edu-Chem can now provide architects, designers, builders and homeowners with access to the latest insulation systems available in the U.K. This brand new Eco-Friendly Low GWP thermal insulation system is a spray applied polyurethane foam with far greater insulation values than traditional glass fibre and is also rated to Class ‘1’ for burning characteristics.
This new system is spray applied polyurethane foam which is produced in such a way that the system contains no CFC’s, HCFC’s, Formaldehyde or any Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s), the foam also has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than 4, making an excellent contribution to the building’s overall environmental impact. Polyurethane spray foam insulation has been used extensively in the U.K. for around 30 years and has proved an excellent addition to homes all over the country.
